not sure if you can tell, but the collar of this dress is leather ~ which obviously necessitated the coordinating additions of a dagger-like necklace, a shagreen-trimmed clutch (which happens to be on sale via my habit), and the toughest shoe bearable in this so-hot summer heat.

{ a weekend away } off old montauk highway

like i mentioned to you all HERE, the sweet people over at white + warren sent me out to montauk this past weekend, to photograph my most-loved looks from their summer 2011 collection. this was one of my favorite projects yet! my friend and photographer jeremy james came along, with my little sister erin to assist. the three of us had so much fun running around the surf lodge (the stylish boutique hotel where i stayed) ~ snapping photos, sipping on insane ginger lemonades, and generally soaking up the sun in style:
