{ wishlist }

{ clockwise from left: alice + olivia sequin pants, sandro printed blouse, rachel comey sleeveless coat, urban outfitters cap, maje leather pants, missoni shoes, alexander mcqueen clutch, alexander mcqueen cuff }

a few days of living dangerously fabulously have left me wanting to up the glamour-ante on my regular, everyday experience. a few of these things might help achieve that goal? thinking leather pants are especially necessary.

{ flight suit }

{ travel gear: F21 laptop case (i carried it as a clutch HERE), coach carry-on, tumi suitcase // wearing: lanvin for h+m sunnies, eskuche headphones, leifsdottir cardigan, missoni shirt, anya hindmarch bag, gifted elizabeth & james 'jimi' jeans, stuart weitzman boots }

i snapped these pics en route to the airport over the weekend, and am coming to you now from las vegas, where i've decamped for a few days' work before fashion week kicks off. traditionally, i'd prefer to wear something drapier for the flight, but after being patted down in surprisingly suspicious palazzo pants too many times, i've finally given in to more mainstream travel togs ~ ie something less likely to arouse unwanted attention at check-in. luckily, these elizabeth & james dungarees (which i feel very lucky to have scored in two colorways, these being the 'warm rinse') are so soft and stretchy that i barely know they're there! add in a silken tee and ruffled cardi and it all made for a pretty easy compromise ~ and an impressively pain-free flight.
