i've enjoyed many a raucous, too-late night inside the always-packed ballroom of the jane hotel, so it was a surprising delight to have it all to myself recently, for a portion of the lipstick diaries shoot i posted friday (and above!). since few ever see its decadent beauty by daylight, i couldn't resist sneaking the following behind-the-scenes snaps:

the jane hotel??? the hotel with the rooms looking like train cabins??? anyway this hotel is gorgeous, i love love an eclectic/ boudoir/ rich fabrics interior. I am just stunned by this interior (and i thought the Bowery hotel was nice). just phenomenal, i need to use this as an inspiration. wow the details are amazing, so they/you have picked out the right hotel. love the color and the print of your dress. the dark blue looks superb with your dark hair and pale skin. still in love with your rock and rolla hair. I always thought that a necklace never could hang on the garment, but you have proven me wrong.
