not long ago, i found myself at a photo studio buried deep in the bronx, gossiping and giggling the day away with jane and leandra (two of the most entertaining of internet sensations), having our photos taken for the march 2011 issue of lucky magazine. it's suddenly summery again in new york, so i'm enjoying a mad-cap mix of open-weave hosiery and light colors worn in full, fallish shapes.



this jacket/shift set was a recent find from the what goes around comes around booth at the manhattan vintage clothing show. i'm always a sucker for gold brocade, so there was no question about buying the pair ~ but a little reworking had to be done before i considered the look wearable. click over to luckymag.com to see the before + after (then come back here and let me know what you think)!
