the dress below (originally posted HERE) is one of my favorite cocktail frocks. it doesn't wrinkle and thus makes a great travel staple. it looks as sweet with bare legs as it does with tights & boots (meaning it's stayed in my closet year-round ~ an unusual feat), and can easily be dressed up or down with the right accessories (incidentally, it matches a myriad of these).
clearly, i'm a fan ~ so when i noticed that a full-skirted version of it had just become available HERE, i felt it was my duty to inform you. after all, so many people seemed pleased to get a second shot at THIS ONE. happy shopping, my friends!!

In fact, I loved it so much that I went straight to ModCloth to get it!
But unfortunately, when I received it in mail it was the full-skirt version instead...
Spoke to ModCloth about an exchange, but was told they sold out of the old one and didn't realize that the new stock was different. They ended up refunding me the purchase price and let me keep the dress since I'm all the way in Australia.
Was a little disappointed (as I really wanted the tulip dress not the full-skirt version), but was really happy with how ModCloth handled it. Would definitely shop there again in the future.
As with the dress, I now have the tulip version as I got my mum to alter it for me! lol
