{ stole the show }

started obsessing over leopard stoles when first i saw them on dries van noten's fall 2010 runway...

...the fire was rekindled when they recently began popping up all over the street style sites...

...and the desire has finally been (delightfully faux!) satisfied by my most recent e-order:

i promise you, this piece is even better* in person!! i'll probably be wearing it all winter...

*and it's only $20!! honestly, i would have bought it even if they weren't a sponsor of this site. it's a great trend, a fun piece & SO versatile!

love it- i also love it paired with the red heads on the style sites! such a shame that unnatural red is so hard to maintain

I think styled right it's amazing, but styled badly and this could be in the bargain bin and on the necks of people you see on the website people of Walmart in no time....just a thought.

I have my grandmothers IDENTICAL leopard stole. Short, with the pass through hole- it's been one of my coveted winter scarves forever- and as leopard is eternal it will come out of it's several year slumber to alas! adorn my chilly neck.. yay me!

i got a pretty much identical scarf the other day at the goodwill for $2.99. i haven't worn it with anything yet but intend to as soon as it gets chilly enough.

I have a faux-fur one just like this that has been a fall/winter wardrobe staple for years. I like the street photos for new ideas on how to wear it. It looks nice with a distressed denim jacket...my go-to look. Thanks for sharing!! =)

I am with you - I was totally obsessed with that Dries version from the second I saw it on the runway. Luckily, I was able to find the exact Adrienne Landau rabbit version I wanted on eBay for a fraction of the price ;) I wish you a season full of wonderment with yours!

Great post. I am interested to see how you will choose to put it together. For $20, i might buy one. I'm sure I can find about a million things to pair it with. Animal print is a neutral after all!

Love that pop of unexpected leopard. The print has now sort of moved into the classic realm... I will be putting a purchase on a leopard stole for fall.
