costume of the day / raindrops on roses

i believe the key to making the most of drizzly days is keeping a collection of cute ubrelleries ~ and today's costume would not have been its best without this roundel of rosy sunshine!

wearing: vintage umbrella, self-designed necklace, rag + bone jacket, natori shirtdress, rings from the glamporium, random lace-stripe tights, topshop boots

Love this. I, too, have a large collection of umbrellas - although I live in Los Angeles and hardly have the chance to use them. The pink casts a lovely glow on a gloomy day!

Gorgeous look, Kelly! OTK boots usually look a little...racy with some outfits, but you make them look perfectly proper.

Did I tell you that my use of alliteration skyrockets when visit your blog? Because it totally does. =D

i love the mixing of patterns. I often get compliments myself an the art of mixing patterns. Very chic. And it could have been so easy to pull out a black or white umbrella for this outfit, but choosing a bright coral color is fabu...

Love this look. Also love the shots with the bookshelf in the background. Mind if I ask you if you put it there, or you found it on the sidewalk next to that cool textured wall? It's fab!

Happy Sunday!
